SKB 1981

The first Schwartz Sauerkraut Band was started in Champaign, Illinois as a "Hungry Five" style group in 1980. The picture on the left is one of the early pictures of this band. Mother's Day 1981.

The band's logo was created at this time with the Regal Eagle ready to party!

  
  The band performed in the Champaign/Urbana area in Illinois and was the house band for a local German restaurant.
